The aeromedical examination takes around 90 minutes.

That's what were here for! If everything is ok and we need no further consultation, your Medical Certificate will be printed out and handed over right away.

- A passport to verify your identity

- If you had surgery or a mayor illness since your last medical exam, we'd like to have reports off that written by your physician. Bring them along to expedite your aeromedical examination - Bring along any medication you use or print out the prescriptions.

Bring along your (spare)glasses and information on their strength. Normally, the strength can be found on the invoice of your spectacles.

Bring those as well! Generally, you're in luck and the strength is written on the packaging. If not, a written note showing their strength will suffice.

No. They're great to fly with but are not accepted by EASA. Make sure you have both your glasses and spare glasses inside your cockpit and at your examination.

We have a base tariff indifferent of the type of examination. Additionally, you may need extras as mentioned on your current Medical Certificate. First time? Read below!

You will undergo a full examination, followed by an ECG (= EKG) as this is mandatory for every new (aspiring) pilot. Costs will be base tariff + ECG

Every crewmember is required to undergo an audio test at initial certification. Above 40 years, an ECG might be necessary as well. Total cost of this examination will be the base tariff + audiogram

At initial certification we perform a regular examination. If any particularities occur, additional tests might be necessary, but usually the base examination suffices. Total cost will be the base tariff.

Are you below 25? We know the first years can be hard, so to support you a discount of 100 euro is granted. The only condition is that you have to pay for the examinations yourself and you're not able to declare them at your employer.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide initial classification for class 1, but you are more than welcome for your renewal!

You can either pay via bank transfer onsite with your mobile phone or you can pay in cash.

Of course! Cancelations can be done free of charge up until 48hours before the examination. Please send us a cancellation mail (medical4pilots@gmail.com). After your cancellation mail our online planner can be used for a new appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours or with a no-show, we charge 100 euro. We're keeping the slot available especially for you so please make sure you calculate some delay time on your way to EHAM.

At your next examination, a lipid- and cholesterol profile will be necessary. Please read following tips to make sure we can perform the blood tests.

- Do not eat anything 10hours before your appointment and only drink some water.
- Make sure your appointment is from Monday till Thursday
- For your own comfort: Make an appointment in the morning.

Do you fly commercially and are your eyes –3/+3 or above? Every couple of years an extended eye exam is required. The Optometrists below are certified to do so. Please bring along the report form the Optometrist to your medical examination.
